Want to enjoy stargazing with family and friends without everyone repeating the same steps? Seestar’s Guest Mode makes it easy!
When Guest Mode is enabled, up to eight devices can connect to the same Seestar simultaneously. Everyone can view the live feed in real time, but only the host device has control privileges—others can watch as “guests”. This prevents accidental operations while allowing everyone to share in the beauty of the night sky together.
Guest Mode is perfect for family gatherings, group trips, or outreach events, letting more people experience the wonders of the universe at the same time!
Connect Seestar to your mobile device. Go to Settings→Advanced Feature.
Open “Demonstration Mode”, then toggle on “Guest Mode”.
Tap the “ⓘ” icon to enter the Guest Mode console:
Tap the QR code icon in the top right corner — a QR code will appear.
As the host, you can tap “Release Control” to let others take over temporarily.
Others can simply scan it with their phone’s camera to join the same Seestar session.
Tips:
- Up to 8 users can connect at once (1 host + 7 guests).
- Guests don’t need to register an account — just scan and join instantly!
