Seestar Supports Equatorial Mode

By using the dedicated Seestar TH10 mount, you can easily enable Equatorial Mode via the app. This allows for longer exposure times, stable tracking, and reduced field rotation, bringing you a professional-level astrophotography experience.

Diverse Features, Constant Surprises

Three Imaging Modes for Unique Creations: Timelapse, Photo, Video Recording

AI Noise Reduction + Anti Light Pollution

Stunning Images, Rich in Detail
1.Professional Optical Performance of a Telescope
With a 30mm apochromatic lens design that includes ED glass(Extra-low Dispersion), meticulously optimized by optical experts, Seestar S30 ensures every star is captured with incredible detail.

2. Starlight-grade Sony IMX662 Sensor (Starvis 2)
With high sensitivity and low noise, even during extended deep-sky exposures, noise interference is minimized, ensuring superior performance in the darkest nights.

3. Triple Filters for Various Shooting Scenarios
Dark Field Filter: Automatically reduces noise generated by long exposures during deep-sky photography.
UV/IR Cut Filter: Effectively blocks infrared light interference for clearer celestial captures.
Astronomical Light Pollution Filter: Optimized for OIII and Ha wavelengths, it minimizes the impact of moonlight and urban light pollution, delivering crystal-clear images of emission nebulae.

4. Smart Noise Reduction with Automatic Post-Processing
One-tap image creation, reducing noise while preserving the target details, ensures clarity even in heavily light-polluted areas. You can also fine-tune your image’s style to suit your taste and share your stunning image instantly.

Dual-band Wi-Fi for Steady Connections

External enhanced dual-band antenna supports 2.4G and 5G frequencies, ensuring a stable and smooth connection within 20 meters. (Note: 2.4G covers greater distances but transmits slightly slower. The 20m range is the average statistic from multiple tests in open areas on the 2.4G band).

The Seestar smart app allows you to explore the solar system, stargaze, or enjoy scenic views. With multiple imaging modes, voice prompts, and seamless smartphone control, Seestar S30 transforms beginners into astronomy pros with ease.

What's in the box

Note

  • Astrophotography is greatly affected by factors such as light pollution, weather, and exposure duration. Image results will vary under different light pollution levels, parameter settings, and stacking times. Please refer to the actual shooting results in your environment.

  • As a precision optical product, the smart telescope may be damaged if dropped. Please handle with care and avoid falls or collisions.

  • When observing the Sun, a solar filter must be installed. Never point the telescope’s main camera directly at the Sun without a solar filter, as this may cause serious damage to the device!

  • 4K Image Output - Available only when using the telephoto leens in Stargazing Mode. The stacked image resolution is 3840×2160, while the resolution of each original frame remains unchanged.

  • Due to system and chip usage, available storage is about 50GB. Updates may affect capacity allocation. Actual use may vary.

  • Under 25℃ lab conditions: ~6 hrs battery life in Stargazing Mode (image enhancement, tracking, no defogging); ~4 hrs in Scenery Mode with dual camera (no tracking, MP4). Data from ZWO lab, for reference only.

  • The Seestar S30 features a 6000mAh Li-ion battery, which is rechargeable over 700 cycles. 1-year warranty (replacement if capacity <60%). Supports Type-C charging, up to 12W. Capacity decreases over time, affecting endurance. Actual performance may vary.

  • 60s long exposure is only supported in Equatorial Mode, not in Alt-Az mode. It requires very accurate polar alignment to ensure tracking precision; otherwise, efficiency may be affected. Actual results may vary.

  • AI noise reduction optimizes noise and star points in captured images. It enhances real photos and does not generate fake AI images. All photos are real captures with the smart telescope.

  • WiFi transmission distance is based on ZWO lab tests in open, interference-free environments. For reference only; actual performance depends on conditions.

  • If weather changes suddenly (clouds, rain, wind) during scheduled shooting, the task cannot be completed and the device will not auto shut down. Always check the forecast before scheduling.
