Seestar Supports Equatorial Mode

By using the dedicated Seestar TH10 mount, you can easily enable Equatorial Mode via the app. This allows for longer exposure times, stable tracking, and reduced field rotation, bringing you a professional-level astrophotography experience.

Diverse Features, Constant Surprises

Three Imaging Modes for Unique Creations: Timelapse, Photo, Video Recording

AI Noise Reduction + Anti Light Pollution

Stunning Images, Rich in Detail
1.Professional Optical Performance of a Telescope
With a 30mm apochromatic lens design that includes ED glass(Extra-low Dispersion), meticulously optimized by optical experts, Seestar S30 ensures every star is captured with incredible detail.

2. Starlight-grade Sony IMX662 Sensor (Starvis 2)
With high sensitivity and low noise, even during extended deep-sky exposures, noise interference is minimized, ensuring superior performance in the darkest nights.

3. Triple Filters for Various Shooting Scenarios
Dark Field Filter: Automatically reduces noise generated by long exposures during deep-sky photography.
UV/IR Cut Filter: Effectively blocks infrared light interference for clearer celestial captures.
Astronomical Light Pollution Filter: Optimized for OIII and Ha wavelengths, it minimizes the impact of moonlight and urban light pollution, delivering crystal-clear images of emission nebulae.

4. Smart Noise Reduction with Automatic Post-Processing
One-tap image creation, reducing noise while preserving the target details, ensures clarity even in heavily light-polluted areas. You can also fine-tune your image’s style to suit your taste and share your stunning image instantly.

Dual-band Wi-Fi for Steady Connections

External enhanced dual-band antenna supports 2.4G and 5G frequencies, ensuring a stable and smooth connection within 20 meters. (Note: 2.4G covers greater distances but transmits slightly slower. The 20m range is the average statistic from multiple tests in open areas on the 2.4G band).

The Seestar smart app allows you to explore the solar system, stargaze, or enjoy scenic views. With multiple imaging modes, voice prompts, and seamless smartphone control, Seestar S30 transforms beginners into astronomy pros with ease.

Seestar S30, the little telescope that can

Great telescope to start with as a beginner in astro photography.

When I decided to buy the S30 I found it hard to choose between S50 and S30.
In the 3 weeks I have the telescope I had about 5 nights without clouds.
I am still not entirely sure whether the s50 might have been a better choice, as lots of interesting objects appear to be quite small given the field-of-view of the S30.
On the other hand, I also would like to go to Spain next year to see the solar eclipse and then the larger field-of-view of the S30 might be the better choice and also the lower weight and smaller size of the telescope.
Also I can't wait to capture Andromeda, though I may have to wait a few more weeks to have it a bit higher in the sky (at least at the hours I would like to stay awake)

The results are truly impressive given I can make the observations from my back yard with all the light pollution of street lanterns and neighbors garden lights.

When searching for something to observe, I guess the app could be improved by allowing to highlight interesting objects in the sky so you can easily move between objects and see how much of the field-of-view each takes.

A friend of mine also bought the S30 at the same time. He had the telescope running for a full night, only to find it dripping with dew the next morning.
So I am a bit worried to leave it out all night for longer observations, especially with the really high humidity we can have here in the Netherlands by the end of the nights.

All-in-all I am very pleased with the S30 and can't wait for more clear skies during the nights.

Stellar product :)

I love my Seestar S30! I bought the S50 and was intrigued by this little guy. The size is perfect for travel but we still use this because its lightweight and easy to set up. Still learning but have been able to capture some magical stuff.

ZWO Seestar S30

The ZWO Seestar S30 arrived two days before promised.
I live in the Light Pollution Zone in Tucson, Arizona and can see very few stars with the naked eye. The S30 is easy to calibrate and select the galaxies and nebulas with the app available for control the S30 and its bigger brother Z50. This scope is perfect for beginners and more advanced users, plus it is light and easy to transport. ZWO just release EQ mode for both scopes however, you need a tripod modifier to use it.
