Each photo is a message from the depths of space — Wojciech Szewczyk's Seestar Journey

My name is Wojciech Szewczyk (@wojciech5497), and I live in Poland. My fascination with the night sky began back in 1997, when I watched the Hale–Bopp comet with my father. I can still see it clearly — its double tail stretching across the heavens like brush strokes of light on a black canvas. That night, something clicked inside me — a quiet obsession with the cosmos was born.
Since then, I’ve spent countless nights under the stars, peering through binoculars and small telescopes, chasing galaxies, nebulae, and the occasional stubborn cloud that refused to move. Eventually, I wanted to capture those fleeting moments — not just in memory, but in pixels. That’s how my adventure with astrophotography began.
And then came the Seestar S50 — the little marvel that turned “catching photons” into pure joy. Suddenly, I was spending less time adjusting mounts and more time simply enjoying the night sky. It’s like having a tiny observatory with a sense of humor and endless patience.
I work as a supply chain analyst, a role that keeps me grounded during the day while the stars call me at night. When I’m not under the stars, I enjoy photography, technology, and long walks — often ending with me looking up again. I’m attaching a few photos, including one with my trusty Seestar — my cosmic companion on many sleepless, starlit nights.
Thank you for creating a tool that not only captures the universe but also helps us feel part of it. My neighbors still wonder why I’m smiling at the sky at 2 a.m. — and honestly, I can’t blame them.
